Wounded Warrior Ability Camp
March 27 – April 1
Ability Celebration 2011 Photos The Ability Celebration honors Wounded Warriors disabled in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The week starts with a Wounded Warrior Ability Camp for 25 soldiers and marines disabled in Iraq and Afghanistan. They receive specialized instruction in adapted alpine skiing and snowboarding at the Disabled Sports Program Center at Alpine Meadows. They are also introduced to other winter recreation as part of their therapy and re-integration into the community including snowmobiling and sledge hockey. Ability Challenge
March 30 & 31
This year’s Ability Challenge is an all mountain challenge designed to accommodate and challenge skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Utilizing GPS technology, the Challenge will take skiers all over the mountain through a series of checkpoints with a few bonus challenges mixed in. All participants must agree to raise a minimum amount of pledges to benefit Disabled Sports USA Far West. *Plus minimum pledges of $200 per person Visit www.abilitychallenge.net

18th Annual Ability BASH Banquet
The Ability Bash is the culmination of this week-long winter sports camp held for the 25 Wounded Warriors disabled in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. These men and women will be honored and recognized during the event through an uplifting presentation.
