What is Disabled Sports USA Far West?
Disabled Sports USA Far West is dedicated to innovative programs that
provide an environment with positive therapeutic and psychological
outcomes. Individuals are empowered to reach their full potential.
Our programs allow individuals of all abilities to discover their own
strengths and interests.

What disabilities are served through Disabled Sports USA?
Disabled Sports serves any individual with a disability regardless
of age and ability including: Autism, developmental disabilities, paraplegics,
quadriplegics, amputees, stroke survivors, people with visual impairments,
cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida, head injuries and
muscular dystrophy.
Where are Disabled Sports programs located?
Disabled Sports provides services primarily in and around Northern
California.

How can I participate in the programs?
Our programs are available on a first-come first-serve basis to our
members (see membership questions below) and reservations are required.
Each program is designed to accommodate anyone from the “never-ever”
beginner to the competitive athlete.
How is instruction provided?
All of our programs offer individualized instruction. Professional
instructors and trained volunteers assess each participant and determine
the best methods and equipment to meet the needs of each participant.
How do I become a member?
Annual participant membership of $30.00 may be purchased by calling
our Program Center at (530) 581-4161. Membership is due for renewal
each October 1st and is required to participate in our any of our programs.
