Interns enjoy helping us make your experience enjoyable

INTERNSHIPS

Disabled Sports offers winter and summer internships for college students, graduates, or people interested in entering the field of therapeutic and adaptive recreation.

Winter. Winter interns are involved in all aspects of an adaptive snowsports program. Off the hill, interns conduct outreach, fundraising, and other administrative projects. On the hill, interns learn how to teach adaptive snowsports and are encouraged to take the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) Adaptive exam.

Summer. Disabled Sports Summer Programs provide interns the opportunity to learn and work with adaptive water skiing, golf, white water rafting, cycling, 4WD outings, campouts, kayaking, and more!

To apply for an internship call the Program Center at 530-581-4161 x204 and ask for Dave Owings. Please email or mail your resume and cover letter to: dave@disabledsports.net
