RESERVATIONS

Reservations are required, and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We suggest calling two to four weeks in advance to reserve the dates you desire. Payment may be made by check, or credit card (not Amex), and is required to guarantee your reservation. Payments are non-refundable.

WINTER PROGRAMS - Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Instruction is available daily from Mid-December through Mid-April to anyone with any disability.   Reservations are available after the 1st of November.

The minimum age is 5. Sit-down skiers must weight 185 pounds or less to ensure skier and equipment safety.

SUMMER PROGRAMS - Summer programs operate from June through September.   Reservations are available after May 1st.

PARTICIPANT MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT FOR DISCOUNTED RATES

In order to participate in our programs at discounted rates you must be an Annual Fund Member (contributor).  An Annual Fund Contribution of $30 or more is required of each client.  Membership is due for renewal each October 1st. 

Your membership includes: 

  • eligibility to participate in our programs at discount rates
  • receipt of our monthly enewsletter if you keep a current email address on file
  • receipt of newsletters and program guides
  • eligibility for scholarships

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS 
We require full payment in advance to guarantee your reservation.  Payments are non-refundable.

Cancellations made 24 hours in advance receive a Disabled Sports credit valid for one year for participation in any Disabled Sports program. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not receive a refund or credit. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you arrive more than 30 minutes late without calling us at (530) 581-4161. Under these circumstances you will not receive a refund or credit.

SPECIAL WINTER CONSIDERATIONS 
When making reservations for ski and snowboard lessons, remember the mountains may receive heavy snowfall the day of your lesson. The fact that it is snowing or chains are required does not warrant a credit or refund for a canceled lesson.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Katherine Hayes Rodriguez Scholarship Fund 
For members with extreme financial needs, our Katherine Hayes Rodriguez Scholarship Fund may cover the cost of participation. Scholarships are available on a first come, first served basis and are limited by the amount of money contributed annually to the fund.  Disabled Sports reserves the right to review documentation of your income prior to approval of your application.

Scholarships are limited to one (1) per winter and summer season, per applicant when available.
