SUMMER SPORTS4WD Adventures: Experienced drivers get you out exploring the beautiful Sierra backcountry along rugged 4WD terrain. Participants of all ages and abilities enjoy this program! Disabled Sports partners with local off-road vehicle clubs for this program. The vehicle owners serve as the drivers for these trips and each person with a disability gets to ride up front and spend the day in a specialized off-road vehicle. Picnic lunch provided for day trips and all meals are provided for the 3 day trip on the world famous Rubicon trail. The Rubicon Trip is a rugged 3 day, 2 night excursion and we carry all food, camping and sanitary equipment with us into the wilderness. A wheelchair accessible port-a-potty with a privacy curtain is provided and set up in a discreet location. This Disabled Sports trip has been featured in CRAWL Magazine. CLICK HERE TO READ THE STORY.
