SUMMER SPORTS

4WD Adventures:

Experienced drivers get you out exploring the beautiful Sierra backcountry along rugged 4WD terrain. Participants of all ages and abilities enjoy this program!

Disabled Sports partners with local off-road vehicle clubs for this program. The vehicle owners serve as the drivers for these trips and each person with a disability gets to ride up front and spend the day in a specialized off-road vehicle.

Day trips usually leave the trailhead at 10am and return by 4pm. The trail is usually on dirt roads, but will include some easy rock crawling along the way.  A sack lunch is provided and can be snacked on the trail or at the rest stop at the lake.  A wheelchair accessible port-a-potty with a privacy curtain is provided and set up in a discreet location.
The Rubicon Trip is a rugged 3 day, 2 night excursion and we carry all food, camping and sanitary equipment with us into the wilderness. A wheelchair accessible port-a-potty with a privacy curtain is provided and set up in a discreet location. This Disabled Sports trip has been featured in CRAWL Magazine.
