SUMMER SPORTS

Adaptive Mountain Biking

Disabled Sports is excited to be one of the only agencies in the world to offer adaptive mountain biking adventures to participants with disabilities. Our equipment includes a highly specialized adaptive hand cycle called the One-Off Flyer.

Participants will be in a kneeling position in the One-Off, so the participant’s legs and waist must be able to assume this position for most of the day and demands a fair amount of upper body strength. The ride is along beginner and intermediate downhill terrain at Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort in North Lake Tahoe, CA. Participants can expect rough trail/off road conditions and participants must have a realistic understanding of their strength and riding abilities.

Adaptive cycle/helmet, Northstar Lift Ticket, Private Instruction is included.
