SUMMER SPORTS

Road Cycling:
Disabled Sports offers both introductory cycling clinics through partnership event and intermediate level rides for people of all ages, abilities and disabilities. Disabled Sports has a large selection of adaptive cycles including recumbent and upright handcycles, recumbent leg powered trikes and tandem bicycles. We can easily accommodate paraplegics hemiplegics, and quadriplegics alike. People with visual impairments can safely ride our tandem cycles and those with impaired balance and coordination, but ambulatory lower extremities can enjoy our recumbent trikes.

Northern California-Nevada Handcycling Series
The NorCal-Nevada Handcycling series is organized by 4 adaptive recreation programs based in Reno, North Lake Tahoe, Sacramento and the Bay Area. Each ride will offer routes along bike paths with distances suitable for beginner and advanced cyclists. Snacks/light lunch will be provided. Experience new riding areas, new adaptive cycles and new riding partners!

Summer 2010 Cycling Dates TBA as soon as possible.
