Golf:

This year Disabled Sports will be offering adaptive golf instruction at three different venues: Sacramento, CA, Reno, NV, and Stockton, CA. Instruction is open to anyone with any disability and whether you are an absolute beginner or a seasoned veteran, you’ll find a place at our golf clinics taught by PGA and LPGA golf professionals.

We have specialized adaptive golf carts called the SoloRider and the Model Tee. These carts are designed to allow people with mobility impairments full access to an otherwise inaccessible golf course. The carts are driven with hand controls and can be driven using either the left or right hand. This allows people with hemiplegia the ability to easily and safely maneuver the cart.

Each cart’s seat swivels 360 degrees and can provide adjustable seating to accommodate each individuals unique needs for stability, balance and coordination.
The carts can be driven on the fairway, through the rough, into the sand traps and even on the green. Disabled Sports also has specialized “flat lie” clubs designed especially for use with our adaptive golf carts.
