Doug Pringle, President  doug@disabledsports.net
Doug is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point (BS Engineering) and CSU Sacramento (MBA and MPA). He is a disabled Vietnam Veteran who has been a leader in the Disabled Sports movement since 1970. Doug lost a leg in Vietnam and learned to ski on one leg in 1968. He won three national slalom championships and was one of the first amputees certified as a ski instructor by the Professional Ski Instructors of America in 1972. He was inducted into the Ski Hall of Fame in 1990 and the Disabled Ski Hall of Fame in 1997 for contributions in the development of adapted skiing nationwide.

In September 2001, he was awarded California’s highest honor, the Governor’s Trophy. This award is given to a Californian with a disability for “outstanding achievement in the world of work and significant contributions that increase public awareness of the experience of disability.” He was elected to the Board of Directors of the U.S. Olympic Committee in 1998 and is a senior fellow member of the American Leadership Forum.

Marilyn Cummings, Office Manager  marilyn@disabledsports.net   
Marilyn has over 20 years secretarial experience, primarily in the medical field. She received her AA in Office Technology from Sierra College. Marilyn and her husband are residents of Placer County and have two grown children. She and her husband love to ski and snowshoe and enjoy the outdoors.
Matt Strugar-Fritsch, Communications Coordinator matt@disabledsports.net
Matt is a graduate of Michigan State University (BA Marketing) and joined Disabled Sports in 2006. His focus is on coordinating and implementing the marketing, public relations and communications efforts of the organization. He also manages the website, conducts community outreach and assists with the development efforts including writing grants and planning special events. As a disabled athlete, Matt spends his free time racing handcycles, whitewater kayaking, whitewater rafting, snow skiing and waterskiing.
Christopher Clark, Golf Program Coordinator chris@disabledsports.net
A graduate of Park Military College, Chris comes to us with 14 years of service as a recreation specialist in the US Air Force and 10 years of experience as a Recreation Program Coordinator for the City of Stockton Department of Parks and Recreation. His focus is on organizing, launching and coordinating six new adaptive golf instruction programs throughout Northern California over the next three years as well as managing the Disabled Sports adaptive golf instruction program at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento, CA. Chris enjoys opening the world of recreation and leisure services to people of all abilities and is thrilled to be on our team!
